Event Log
Each monitored device has its own event log.
To access the event log for a device, first go to the "Update Device" form by clicking the device link in the status window.
Then click the "Events" link at the bottom of the form.
Events are listed in timestamp order, most recent event first.
Device Down, Device OK and Device Warning event types generate notifications.
Event types such as Suspend, Ready and Resume that do not generate notifications are called silent events.
Timestamp: When the event occurred, date/time timestamp represented in the account timezone.
If the event is less than 30 days old, and is not a silent event, the timestamp will be a link to the corresponding entry in the check log.
Type: The type of event.
Device Down: Device failure has been detected.
Device OK: Device returned to service.
Device Warning: HTTP/S page change or other warning.
Suspend: Monitoring has been suspended by user or maintenance schedule.
Ready: Monitoring is ready to resume according to user or maintenance schedule.
Resume: Both the user and the maintenance schedule are ready, so monitoring is resumed.
Reason: The reason the alert was generated.
Notified: A link to the notifications page showing each contact notified.
