Status Window (Part 2 of 4)

The Status window shows up on the right side of all Alertra pages whenever you are logged into your account. It gives you the latest information on the devices you are monitoring.
Device Name
When you first create your account, the Status window will show one device. Unless you changed it, that device will be called "NEW". You can click the device name link and be taken directly to the Device Setup page.
It is a good idea to change the device name from the default of "NEW". The device name is used in the notifications that are sent out when the device goes down and comes back up. You can change the device name at any time on the Device Setup page.
Device Status
A green checkmark for the device status field is good, it means your device has been checked and has passed the test. The device status icon will change to reflect the current status of the device. You can click the What's This? link in the status window to get a list of status icons and what they mean.
Check All
The "Check All" link allows you to have Alertra re-check all of your configured devices. If you have had an outage and want to see if the problem has been fixed, you can use "Check All" to test the devices without having to wait until the next scheduled check.
